How to download files to your Blackberry device using a USB cable

To download the file to your Blackberry device using a USB cable: 1.) Download the file you want to transfer to your computer. 2.) Plug your USB cable into the USB port of your computer and the other end into the charging port of your phone. 3.) After your computer assigns a drive letter to your Blackberry device click on that drive letter. 4.) Select any folder within the Blackberry (use the downloads or applications folder if either exists). 5.) Click and drag the file from your computer into a folder on the Blackberry device (REMEMBER WHICH FOLDER YOU TRANSFERRED THE FILE TO). 6.) Unplug your Blackberry device from your computer and locate the folder you transferred the file to. 7.) Locate the file you transferred within the folder and select that file. 8.) Press the "Menu" (center) button. 9.) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation. | |
